Restoring function. Improving breath.

Offering virtual and in-person myofunctional therapy to Linn County, Oregon, and surrounding areas.

What is orofacial myofunctional therapy?

Myofunctional therapy helps retrain the muscles of the face, tongue, and mouth to support proper breathing, posture, and function. Many people don’t realize that habits like mouth breathing, low tongue posture, or poor swallowing can lead to disrupted sleep, jaw or neck pain, and changes in facial growth and development—especially in children. By addressing the underlying patterns, therapy can improve comfort, long-term health, and overall function.

Services Offered

15-min Discovery Call

A no-pressure phone call to discuss your concerns, goals, and whether myofunctional therapy is the right fit for you. This is not an evaluation—just a conversation to learn how I can help.

Comprehensive Assessment

$100

Your first visit will be a 90-minute, in-person evaluation. We will review your health history and assess nasal breathing, tongue posture, and facial muscle function. We will also discuss your concerns, identify what areas need the most support, and create a customized treatment plan. Referrals to other specialists may be recommended if additional intervention is needed. The assessment fee is separate from the cost of therapy and is due at the time of service.

Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy Sessions

$1500 Package (approximately 10-15 sessions)

Therapy sessions are designed to restore optimal tongue and facial muscle function with a focus on four key goals: nasal breathing, lip seal, proper tongue posture, and a correct swallowing pattern. Sessions are offered virtually or in person and are typically scheduled every other week. Session length and frequency vary based on your needs, but each includes updated exercises, guidance, and support.

Progress in myofunctional therapy depends on consistency and active participation between visits. As a client, you can expect to:

  • Commit to doing exercises twice a day, about 2 minutes per exercise.

  • Participate in regular follow-up sessions.

  • Maintain open communication about your progress.

  • Involve other providers when needed for the best possible outcome (e.g. ENT evaluations or tongue-tie release).

Please note:
The rates listed above are current, but they may change as services grow and improve. Rates will always be confirmed before scheduling, and you are welcome to reach out if you have any questions.

Payment and Insurance

Following your comprehensive assessment, we will review your therapy plan and discuss payment options.

I strive to offer flexible payment options that match your needs and accept full payment as well as monthly payment plans for therapy services. The cost of the comprehensive assessment is separate and is not applied toward the cost of therapy.

At this time, most dental and medical insurance plans do not cover myofunctional therapy. However, HSA and FSA funds are accepted.

Please note: I do not correspond directly with insurance companies.
